It was engineered to enhance the depth of field, and the optics package provides crisp and well-defined views through the use of fully multicoated glass.

The turrets on this scope are constructed using stainless steel internal components for added longevity compared to competing scopes that use other metals that wear down more quickly. They are resettable, have a hard mechanical zero-stop, offer tool-free adjustments, and use an elevation range of 80 MOA and a windage range of 45 MOA, both with 15 MOA revolutions and 1/4 MOA clicks.

This Element Optics Helix uses side-focus with parallax-free operation from 15 yards to infinity, 3.7 inches of eye relief, and a removable magnification throw lever. In addition, it provides clean and crisp views through varying lighting and weather conditions because the lenses are fogproof, waterproof, shockproof, and nitrogen purged. The 30mm tube is made with aircraft-grade aluminum, and the scope features a 44mm objective lens.

The APR-1C MOA reticle found on this scope is an all-purpose reticle that was designed by Matt Dubber, the successful competitive shooter. Compared to the D variation of the reticle, it is the “clean” version, offering a design with fewer markings for a simplified view. It utilizes a first focal plane (FFP) design with 1/4 (the click value), 1, 2, and 4 MOA lines, a fine dot in the center, numbered holdover indicators, and tapered bars at each end of the horizontal line.
